The Taihape Grandstand at Memorial park
So what does the Taihape Community think about the old grandstand coming down to make way for this new Leisure Centre?
A few people in the community have suggested that the old Grandstand should be and kept and repaired. Do you think this is viable especially as it has been reported that it would cost more to repair and bring up to current standards than it would be to build new. What do you think?

So much for Taihape’s history!
Yet again a few people feel the need to destroy what little is left of Taihape’s heritage.
